Autism Dental - Teamwork Builds Bridges to Success!

Early dental visits for children with autism are extremely important, because delay reduces the chances of successful integration into the dental office environment. We are dedicated to the notion that all children with autism should have routine recare visits without restraints or medications.

A dentist who does not understand autism, does not understand that a child with autism needs to be calmed through repetitive familiarization. Rewards, often referred mistakenly to as "bribes", work well for children with autism: this is contrary to typical behaviour management techniques. If the "usual" techniques are applied to a child with autism, the dental visit will most likely be a failure.

As the parent, you know what your child responds best to. Getting your child to be able to cope with routine dental visits is the ultimate goal at our center. Our philosophy is that every child must be given the opportunity to receive routine dental recare visits without the use of drugs or restraints. We have parents who bring their children from as far away as Alaska and New York because of our unique, individualized approach to children right here in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Please take the time to view the resources available through this website. We are conveniently located in the Summerlin Medical Center in the western Las Vegas valley.

Call (702) 233-3338 today to schedule an initial dental appointment. You may also request an appointment online, under the "New Clients " tab on the top.

We at Autism Dental Center for Children are excited to serve your child!
